100 Story Building Update

“SVP Melbourne’s first investee, 100 Story Building, a custom-designed children’s creative space in Footscray, celebrated its 5th birthday in September. Since opening their doors in 2013, 100 Story Building has delivered creative story making programs to over 25,000 children and young people from marginalised communities, helping to build literacy, confidence and a sense of belonging.

SVP member Paul Higgins, who acted as Lead Partner for 100 Story Building, was able to attend the birthday celebrations, along with around 100 other members of the 100 Story Building community.

We are delighted to learn that thanks in part to the support SVP provided in building capacity and capabilities, 100 Story Building is on the cusp of an exciting growth phase, and look forward to many more years of stories from this unique organisation.”
